Reporting to the Team Lead, Talent Acquisition, you work closely with the entire Talent Acquisition team to execute on the overall hiring strategy for our various departments. You will also own the entire student experience for D2L Co-op’s, including engagement during (and after) their work term, and into their pre-graduation job search.

**Major Responsibilities (How Will I Make an Impact?)**:
**Early Talent Recruitment and Programs (75%)**
- Leading the student experience with D2L from attraction (Campus events, social media, sourcing) to retention (maintaining a network after graduation) perspective
- Develop and execute on recruiting strategies for Early Talent positions in partnership with Hiring Managers
- Identify and implement methods of attracting and acquiring high performance talent
- Build and foster relationships with school Co-op and Career centres, as well as relevant clubs and associations
- Ensure data integrity in relation to recruitment reporting and information
- Source, build and nurture a network of contacts and a pipeline of talent to facilitate timely solutions to future resourcing requests
- Combine social media, networking, the employee value proposition, technology, and process to enhance recruiting both inside and outside D2L and drive the talent brand
- Increase business visibility externally and establish D2L as a destination employer for Early Talent
- Own the strategic planning and execution of the D2L Alumni Program; working cross functionally with the Talent Acquisition Team and Marketing to grow and build-out the program.
- Highly involved in various talent acquisition projects, programs and events, including delivering training session for managers, people and culture events, and other programs.
- Conduct various research projects and prepare recruiting reports as needed
- Work collaboratively across our PnC Team - with an attitude of no matter if it’s in my role or not, “it simply needs to get done”.

**Coordination (25%)**
- Scheduling interviews with multiple internal participants including C-level executives
- Managing various recruitment tools, including applicant tracking system and web-based job boards, reference check tools and background checks.
- Running and assisting with various recruitment events, including coordinating staff participation, set up, and working at various job fairs and networking events
- Supporting and assisting other recruiting initiatives as assigned

**Competencies (What you’ll bring to the role)**:

- Passion for student experiences; prior leadership in clubs or association is a bonus
- Creative approaches to events, promotion/advertising via social media, and student engagement
- Have a demonstrated capability of remaining calm under pressure and handling a high volume of competing priorities simultaneously, driving results
- Outstanding collaborative abilities with demonstrated experience working cross functionally
- Proficiency with MS Office and comfortable learning new technologies
