The Houseperson Attendant is a key member of the Housekeeping team, responsible for thoroughly cleaning all public spaces, offices, and back of the House areas adhering to all hotel brand standards with excellence and care.
- Responds to all guest requests and in-house calls with efficiency and accuracy
- Vacuums, mops and polishes the marble/granite floor, cleans and polishes all metals
- Cleans mirrors and glass fixtures
- Dust all furniture, fixtures, lamps and decorations
- Replaces waste bins and recycling
- Retrieves used linen and sorts in the appropriate facilities
- Delivers fresh linen from laundry area to designated areas
- Removes or distributes furniture, supplies, and equipment from respective location
- Reports any special maintenance and repairs in his/her areas
- Hands Lost & Found items with accuracy
- Reports to Supervisor, health and safety hazards with immediate urgency
- Supports room attendants with stripping of linens when needed
- Performs other projects assigned by management as needed

Room Attendants are responsible for cleaning and presenting the assigned guest room to hotel brand standards including but not limited to:

- Change linens, make beds, vacuum, dust furniture, collect garbage and recycling
- Thoroughly cleans, scrubs, and washes bathroom areas
- Replace guest supplies and amenities
- Exchange curtains, sheers and other furnishing when required
- Collect and store soiled laundry on linen cart
- Other tasks as assigned by management

**Requirements**:

- _**Good English and communication skills required to communicate via phone, two-way radios, and written communications as needed**_
- _**Open availability to work all shifts; mornings, evenings, weekly, weekend, stat holidays as needed**_
- **Can do moderately physical work including but not limited to lifting/pushing up to 50lbs**
- Can perform room attendant tasks and/or shifts when needed as relief support
- Post secondary courses a big asset
- Work experience in cleaning field a big asset
- Must be able to understand and follow WHMIS at all times
- Must be a reliable, team player, willing to support all team members and departments

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
