THE OPPORTUNITY

The Specialist, Quality Training is responsible for the development and delivery of quality training initiatives and system management in the areas of GXP compliance and technical capabilities development within the enterprise learning management system. The purpose of this position is to support the Quality Department in ensuring GXP compliance at all times and support the business in the delivery of technical training initiatives to propel the business in achieving its organizational goals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Emergent’s learning management system to ensure that all records are maintained in compliance with applicable regulations and procedures
Work in collaboration with global quality training teams to develop and harmonize practices, processes, and content to ensure consistent employee experience and content delivery
Consult with teams to identify training and development gaps and recommend solutions to stakeholders, and/or guide team members in identifying solutions
Design the content and format of training materials, training plans, training assignments and curriculum design for employees through the learning management system, and makes recommendations for content improvement
Develop job training aids and establish effective assessment and feedback mechanisms as appropriate to evaluate team competence
Present data-based recommendations to senior management on training needs, activities, and solutions
Act as a point of escalation to the team on issues from the business
Champion site initiatives to drive continuous improvement

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**:
The completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration or other relevant specialty
Adult Education Certification would be an asset.
Over five years’ experience designing and delivering adult education programs through online learning delivery
Over five years’ experience with managing electronic learning management systems
Knowledgeable in FDA regulations along with related CFR regulations and standards
Strong understanding of training delivery techniques (i.e. training facilitation, presentation skills, instructional design and curriculum development, adult learning theory and delivery)

**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:
Citizenship/Permanent Resident or Valid Work Permit.
Successful Completion of a Criminal Record Check.
