Bishop Hamilton Montessori School is leading non-profit independent school offering a Christian Montessori education to 200 students in the Ottawa region since 1983. BHMS is proudly accredited by the Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators. BHMS believes that all children are competent, capable, curious and rich in potential. Our Montessori programs place children at the center of the learning environment to support their learning, development, health and well-being through caring and responsive Montessori trained educators who focus on active learning, exploration and inquiry. The Montessori environment is equipped with Montessori materials and each classroom is led by a Montessori trained teacher and two Assistants.

- Experience or training in a Montessori classroom
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, with a high degree of professional integrity

- Flexible and adaptable
- Ability to follow direction with a desire to learn and develop
- Provide a caring and nurturing atmosphere in the classroom

**Qualifications**
- Registered Early Childhood Education certification &/or
- Montessori certified educator &/or
- Experience working with children

**Job Type: Full Time**
