**Purpose of the Role**

This position is designed to fill schedule gaps and provide operational support across multiple departments. The goal is to ensure consistent service levels and avoid overtime when core staff are unavailable or business levels spike.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Perform housekeeping duties, including guest room cleaning, restocking, and sanitizing
- Assist with breakfast setup, replenishment, and clean-up
- Operate laundry equipment and maintain linen inventory
- Perform janitorial tasks in public areas and hotel facilities
- Respond to on-call needs when staff are unavailable
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards

**Schedule Expectations**
- Must be available **7 days/week** for potential scheduling
- Scheduled **2-3 days minimum per week**, with flexibility for coverage up to 32 hrs
- **Weekend availability required** (especially early morning shifts)
- **On-call readiness** for sick calls, staff absences and vacation coverage

**Qualifications**
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Flexible and comfortable working in different roles and environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or janitorial work is an asset
- Must maintain reliable attendance and communication
