We are currently Hiring for a full time Exterior Service Technician to perform a multitude of exterior repairs and inspections. Our goal with this position is to move you.

**Job Specifics**:

- Perform roof repairs as instructed by Service Manager/Coordinators
- **Installation of Roofing Systems: knowledge and ability to ** install different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, safety systems and other forms of low-slope roofing systems. Operate tools in a safe manner, while adhering to all applicable health and safety legislation.
- **QA and Maintenance Inspections**:perform routine inspections using diagnostic equipment, check roof to make sure system is working properly and ensure any problems are communicated and corrected.
- Install and repair roofs and siding on residential and commercial buildings
- Travel across the city to perform repairs
- Communicate job expectations, and progress with Service Manager on a daily basis
- Ensure all aspects of the job are handled to the customer’s satisfaction
- Look for additional repair opportunities on current, and ongoing contracts
- Monitor site, and ensure safety standards are upheld
- Complete all necessary paperwork such as work order forms, warranty, etc.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have at least 2 years of commercial roofing experience.
- Previous Service Technician experience required
- Understanding of building construction a must
- Previous carpentry experience ideal/an asset
- First Aid, CSTS, and Fall Protection preferred
- Valid driver’s license, and clean driving abstract required
- Must have steel toed boots, rope, and harness
- Ability to work independently or in a pair
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs required
- Must be comfortable with heights, and in extreme temperatures
- Knowledge of different roofing/siding materials, such as asphalt shingles, metal, or tile
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address unexpected issues during installations or repairs
- Proficient in using tools and equipment specific to roofing and siding work

Pay: $29.00-$40.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Siding: 3 years (preferred)
- General Construction: 2 years (preferred)
- Metal Roofing: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Fall Protection (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
