**About you**

You’re a versatile and skilled Shipper/Receiver with training and experience in both domestic and international shipping. You learn quickly, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and like being part of a growing organization dedicated to providing reliable and accurate customer services.

**Functions and Responsibilities**
**Shipping/Receiving**:

- Generating cross-border documents needed for international shipments to US and Mexico (NAFTA paperwork, Commercial invoices detailing out shipping details)
- Receiving goods and services physically and also in the Company’s systems such as WASP (inventory system) and IFS (ERP accounting system)
- Handling shipments from various suppliers
- Perform quality control inspections on incoming and outgoing goods and shipments
- Receiving and documenting parts and tools from international sources, particularly the USA and Mexico
- Generating cross-border documents and standard labels for shipments
- Coordinating and organizing pickups for large shipments
- Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments (Bills of Lading, Packing Slips, etc.)
- Project support shipments - gauge tools, hotshots
- Loading / unloading of goods and materials
- Responsible for staying current on shipping requirements and best method of shipping
- Responsible for following and verifying shipped packages until they have been received at destination
- Responsible for taking rush shipments to shippers facilities at the airport
- Works closely with Inventory Control to advise of arrivals, remove shipped parts and assist in keeping inventory accurate as needed
- Packing and tracking gauge tool and spare equipment kits
- Any other duties as assigned

**Inventory Backup/Support**
- Inventory control while on shift
- Assist updating and organizing inventory records
- Assist in maintaining the accuracy of stock levels
- Conducting routine audits to identify discrepancies

**Education & Experience**
- High School Diploma (Diploma/Degree in logistics, supply chain management or related field as asset
- 2+ years shipping/receiving experience (preferred)
- Forklift Operator License (preferred)
- TDG Certification
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

**Skills & Competencies**
- Knowledge of NAFTA commercial invoice and harmonized codes
- Ability to lift or carry loads of up to 50 Lbs
- Forklift and/or skid steer competency
- Mechanical aptitude
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work with and learn proprietary software
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and attentive listening capabilities
- Ability to maintain poise, quality of work and efficiency at all times
- Demonstrated capacity to consistently deliver tasks promptly and with a strong emphasis on quality
- Ability to evaluate and prioritize tasks
