Overview of Mobile Service Technician:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
In the role of Mobile Service Technician you will be responsible for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repairs to waste equipment and other mechanical equipment as required. This role requires working on site at the manufacturing plant and travelling to customers to perform preventative maintenance, repairs and trouble-shooting as required.
- Completes necessary repair and preventive maintenance work as assigned
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Ability to do mechanical repairs
- Checks safety equipment on various equipment
- Inspects equipment, for condition, operation, parts and fluid levels
- Identifies and designates problems; mechanical, electrical and hydraulic
- Performs adjustments to various systems during preventive maintenance service
- Maintains and/or changes hydraulic fluids and filters
- Make emergency on site repairs; at times after-hours; carry, monitor and answer company issued cellphone for after hour service calls
- Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety procedures, laws, policies and rules
- Write service reports that accurately document activities
- Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
- Works collaboratively in a team environment and with cooperation
- Respectfully takes direction from supervisor/ manager
- Perform PM’s and inspections.
- Any other maintenance issues as required or requested by supervisor and management
- Maintain Service Vehicle and Tools

**Maintenance Technician Skills and Qualifications**
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs and should be in overall good physical health
- Ability to solve basic problems that may arise on the job
- Knowledge and experience of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and equipment systems in day to day tasks for the job
- Familiarity with schematics and assembly processes
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner and be able to prioritize important work
- Ability to communicate any issues or problems to upper management while also being able to work with other staff members to get a particular job completed
- Ability to multitask and juggle a variety of requirements or requests at one time
- Maintain regular attendance
- Excellent organizational skills
- Has own tools (minimum required)
- Ability to keep track of maintenance and prepare and manage reports
- Ability to handle fast paced work environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
