**About the Clinic**

My Kids Tummy is a specialized pediatric clinic focused on helping children and families manage constipation and related bowel challenges. We take a collaborative, whole-child approach—combining medical, behavioral, and emotional support—to help children overcome withholding behaviors, fears of using the toilet or school bathrooms, and anxiety surrounding bowel routines. Our multidisciplinary team includes Nurse Practitioners, Pediatricians, and allied health professionals working together to provide compassionate, family-centred care.

**Position Overview**

This role offers flexibility and autonomy within a supportive clinical setting. Most sessions are conducted in person at the clinic, with the potential for limited virtual appointments.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide psychotherapy and/or counselling to children and families coping with constipation-related issues, toileting anxiety, and withholding behaviors.
- Support parents and caregivers in understanding behavioral and emotional contributors to bowel health and developing effective strategies at home.
- Conduct individual and family sessions using evidence-informed, developmentally appropriate approaches.
- Collaborate closely with the clinic’s Nurse Practitioners, Pediatricians, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in alignment with professional standards and clinic policies.
- Participate in care planning, communication, and coordination with other providers as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Registered and in good standing with one of the following,
- **College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO),** **Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)**, **or College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO).**:

- Professional liability insurance in place and maintained throughout the term of engagement.
- Experience working with children, families, or pediatric populations preferred.
- Knowledge of anxiety, developmental disorders, and behavioral interventions is an asset.
- Compassionate, collaborative, and family-centered approach to care.

**Compensation & Schedule**
- **Percentage-based revenue split** per client session.
- No overhead or rental costs; administrative and clinic support provided.
- **Flexible hours and scheduling** to accommodate provider and family needs.
- Option for some **virtual sessions**, though this role is primarily **on-site**.

**Job Types**: Casual, Freelance

Pay: $50.00-$1,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 1 per week
