**Mechatronics Technician**

We’re looking for a **Mechatronics Technician** to assist our Mechanical Engineer and Electronic Systems Engineer with development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining our product line. This will include field work at customer locations.

This position requires a solid understanding of mechanical and electronic systems, combined with the ability to work closely with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team and customers directly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to ensure optimal functionality in testing and field environments.
- Collaborate with engineers to design, test, and optimize prototypes and production systems.
- Conduct on-site field testing of prototypes with customers.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance to minimize downtime of field-deployed equipment when necessary.
- Analyze data from sensors and systems to diagnose performance issues and recommend improvements.
- Work with CAD software and technical drawings to support system modifications and upgrades.
- Operate and maintain 3D printers.
- Document all maintenance, repair, and development activities accurately and comprehensively.
- Work with assembly and manufacturing team to streamline processes.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems (e.g., motors, hydraulics, pneumatics) and electronic components (e.g., sensors, actuators, wiring).
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electronic systems.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, including schematics and blueprints.
- Familiarity with basic programming.
- Experience with wire preparation and the soldering of small electrical components.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, especially in field-based scenarios.

**Preferred**:

- Experience in agricultural technology or related industries.
- Skills in robotics integration or automation.
- Background in customer support or direct communications with end users.
