Increasing our knowledge not only builds confidence but empowers growth through learning. **Position Type/Schedule** This role will be onsite, based out of the Distribution Center, 19295 25 Avenue, Surrey BC. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, 40 hours per week. **About the role**: We are currently seeking to fill a** Distribution Center (DC) Trainer** position for our Distribution Center. The DC Trainer is responsible for overseeing the training, coaching, and mentorship of new hires. The trainer will ensure training complies with the DC process and health and safety guidelines. This includes reviewing with new hires on DC procedures for each zone and equipment certification. Also, the DC Trainer will work closely with other team members in developing their skills. In addition, be responsible for logging training hours, reviewing & revising procedure documentation, and providing training/support to any branches transitioning to our Warehouse Management System. This position will be reporting and working closely with the Distribution Center, Supervisors by meeting regularly to review and discuss the development of new hires. **What are the Key Accountabilities?** - ** You will lead by example.** A safety-first attitude and valuing safety every day. - ** You will have high attention to detail. **You pride yourself on ensuring all details are covered such as having a high attention to accuracy in picking and receiving. - ** You will be a collaborative communicator**.
