**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our dynamic team. The EMT will provide critical care to patients in emergency situations, ensuring their safety and well-being during transport to medical facilities. This role requires quick thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure in various environments.

**Responsibilities**
- Assess patients' conditions and determine necessary care.
- Administer medications as prescribed and within the scope of practice.
- Provide immediate patient care, including CPR, wound care, and stabilization of injuries.
- Safely transport patients to hospitals while monitoring their vital signs and overall condition.
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff regarding patient status and treatment provided.
- Maintain equipment and supplies in the ambulance or emergency response vehicle.
- Document all patient interactions, treatments administered, and any changes in condition accurately.
- Assist with heavy lifting of patients or equipment as required during emergency situations.

**Skills**
- Proficient in medication administration with a solid understanding of medical terminology.
- Strong knowledge of patient care protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Capacity to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
