The program promotes a respectful and inclusive environment for students, faculty, and staff. **Responsibilities**: Reporting to the Director, Film Studies, the Student Film Library Assistant will assist with the purchase and digitization of films to support the Program in Film Studies. The incumbent will be responsible for communicating with Faculty members, ordering and cataloguing films to support course offerings, uploading the digitized titles to the Program's server, and cataloguing new purchases in the Film library database. - Qualifications**Education**: - Must be a student returning to studies in the fall **Experience**: - Experience with Film Studies courses considered an asset Skills, Abilities & Expertise: - Familiarity with digital media, film history, genres, and filmmakers - Written and verbal communication skills to express ideas clearly - Reliable and dependable with the ability to consistently work assigned schedule - Ability to follow processes and practices with high level attention to detail - Demonstrates integrity and works in accordance with Western's policies and procedures - Computer skills with the ability to learn and use new software programs as required - Ability to work in a manner that is compliant with confidentiality requirements as applicable **Why Western?**: **Background Checks**: While transcripts are not required for the interview, they are mandatory prior to any offer of employment.
