Forward is hiring Jr. **Personal Lines Underwriters** in our London, ON / Vancouver, BC or Campbell River, BC office - please note this is an in-office position, there is no ability to work remotely.
- Underwriting specialty personal lines risks within your level of authority based on your experience.
- Answering inquiries and providing support to our brokers while building + maintaining relationships.
- Preparing renewals, endorsements, cancellations, new business.
- Achieve performance targets and meet required deadlines to maintain service standards.
- Promote and model the Forward Insurance Managers Ltd. culture, values and brand promise.
- Other duties as required.
**Job Qualifications**
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong professional communication, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer skills including high proficiency with MS office.
- Able to work effectively under pressure, adapt to change, and deliver on deadlines and service standards.
- An inclusive and transparent collaboration style.
- Successful completion of a criminal record check.
**Education & Experience**
Minimum 1 year experience. Preference given to applicants with underwriter, broker, or other industry experience and /or education (CAIB, CIP or other relevant designations).
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
