**Agence Fox is looking for a part-time bilingual Financial Controller / Very Experienced Bookkeeper to join our team.**

We're a young, vibrant **real estate marketing & leasing agency specialized in helping residential real estate owners fill up their properties quickly**.

We've made a name for ourselves by launching a premium student residence called **Chelsea House** (near Concordia & McGill). We've also helped several owners & developers lease-up their residential properties all over Montreal.

Prior to that, we were very active in launching and operating several very successful food & beverage (F&B) businesses in Montreal (Kampai, Mayfair, Fitzroy, Cathcart, etc).

Our ultimate goal at Agence Fox is to help our clients achieve their revenue objectives.

**Role**

If you're known for your **attention to detail, hyper-organization**, and ability to **get things done fast**, this is for you. We're looking for a bright, reliable Financial Controller / Bookkeeper who can work well independently and within a small team.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for helping us keep our books clean and improving our accounting functions as we are growing. We are operating in a paperless, cloud environment (performing the day to day accounting functions in a modern, paperless cloud based environment. You will be involved in the complete cycle up to the Financial Statements. **If you're interested in real estate / acquisitions / development, this is where we're headed. **This is an _**excellent opportunity to contribute on a foundational level**_ and grow with the company as we continue to expand.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the day-to-day full cycle accounting.
- **Watch over our $ like a hawk **_- keep expenses low, revenues high_
- Month-end reconciliations such as bank reconciliations, expense account reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end reporting to BOD, executive team, and other stakeholders
- Propose and implement process improvements
- **Requirements**
- Education level DEP, or University Accounting degree
- 4 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Google suites
- General IT proficiency - able to navigate in a cloud based environment
- **Experience in managing QBO Quickbooks** cloud-based accounting software as well as DEXT

**Assets**
- Previous experience in a fast-paced startup
- Proficient in Canadian accounting (Quebec, Ontario)
- Experience in real estate accounting (property management, financial modeling)

Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
