Floor Houseperson

**Position: Houseperson - Overnight Shifts**

**The Role at a Glance**:This position plays a key role in the housekeeping department, working as a team member to ensure all tasks are completed before a shift end in the hotel. Our overnight Houseperson will be on site from 11pm - 7:30am.

**Your Day To Day Duties**:

- Cleaning designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet rooms, sweeping / general cleaning of exterior building perimeter;
- Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash
- Greet guests in a friendly manner;
- Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair;
- Stock and maintain supplies, as needed;
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed;
- Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed;
- Assisting room attendants by removing dirty linen and garbage from their carts;
- Assisting in robe and linen inventories;
- Garbage disposal handling
- Receiving hotel deliveries
- Comply with all Archive standards, policies and procedures at all times.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

**You have**:

- 1-2 years minimum experience in banquet/restaurant/bar/and hotel
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Must be Smart Serve certified
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a high volume environment
- The ability to remain calm in stressful situations

**Special Requirements and Certifications**:

- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
- Flexible and long hours are sometimes required
- Ability to stand/walk during entire shift
- Able to lift up to 25lbs.
