**Job Title: Head Golf Professional**

**Location**: West Haven Golf and Country Club
**Reports To**: General Manager
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Leadership and Management**:

- Lead and mentor the golf staff, including assistant professionals and instructors.
- Schedule and oversee golf staff assignments and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with club policies and procedures.
- Working with other departments on initiatives.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide exceptional service to members and guests, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at the golf facility.
- **Golf Operations**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pro shop, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales.
- Organize and oversee tournaments, events, and member outings, billing, ensuring a high standard of execution.
- Maintain golf course communications, including working with course maintenance staff to ensure playing conditions are relayed to members.
- **Instruction and Training**:

- Offer golf lessons and clinics to members and guests of all skill levels.
- Develop and implement programs to promote golf participation and education within the community, grassroots to high performance.
- **Marketing and Promotion**:

- Collaborate with management to develop marketing strategies that promote golf activities and enhance membership engagement.
- Utilize social media and other channels to communicate events and programs effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- PGA/LPGA membership or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in golf operations.
- Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and drive revenue.
- Proficient in golf management software’s.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
