**About the Program**

The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are interested in learning from industry-leading professionals and exploring what it means to be a part of Canada’s only Major League Baseball team.

Selected individuals will become part of a diverse cohort with access to department-specific training, social activities, and learning opportunities. Each participant will also be assigned a cross departmental mentor from within the organization to guide them throughout the program and the unique chance to present to the Toronto Blue Jays Leadership Team.

The Blue Jays office is more than just workstations and computers; it is an extension of the ballpark. Here, we channel the game's energy as we strive daily to achieve our mission: to get better every day to win world series championships and celebrate with our fans across Canada.

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Support Director with administrative duties including facilitating departmental meetings, maintaining homestand reporting and overseeing the execution the of the retail marketing and promotional calendars
- Support and facilitate in game request and in store marketing request per retail marketing and promotional calendar
- Lead the internal merchandise request program, from initial orders to fulfillment.
- Support with the execution of location-to-location inventory consolidations and movement.
- Assist with the entry of purchase orders and SKU creation.
- Work with the buying team to read and understand planograms and product placement. Frequently audit the sales floor to ensure the planograms are reflected appropriately and provide insight to on-the-floor inventory and stock challenges.
- Maintain visual merchandising best practices in all retail locations including
- Support with the execution of new product launches and visual initiatives
- Participate in the preparation and execution of special events, including ballpark giveaways and promotions, store promotions, product launches, and Rogers Centre concerts.
- Support retail and merchandise team with scheduling and time keeping
- Prepare game day materials including information sheets, deployment and product updates
- Other administrative duties to support the Merchandise & Retail department.

**Qualifications**
- Passion for sports and knowledge of the game of baseball and Toronto Blue Jays a necessity
- Post-secondary education in retail management, fashion management or business-related discipline
- Available to work 80% of home games (evenings, weekends, and holidays) and other events, as required.
- A team player that will establish, maintain, and build strong relationships and communication with vendors and internal departments to reach desired results.
- Ready and willing to assist other Toronto Blue Jays departments as needed.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Able to effectively manage and prioritize time; able to multi-task in fast-paced, high-volume environment and meet required deadlines.
- A commitment to service excellence and fan satisfaction.
- Proficient computer skills in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to lift, carry, kneel, bend, and reach.
- Legally able to work in Canada.
