FPH Group is a manufacturer of highly engineered products, primarily supplying the defense industry. We look to provide Design Solutions to some of the more complex challenges our customers face.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**

Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished materials/products using the appropriate measuring equipment

Review and verify incoming documentation

Record/document inspections as per quality procedures

Ensure in-process documentation from production is recorded

Maintain accurate inspection records and reports

Calibration of equipment as per work instructions

Keep quality area clean, organized and well maintained

Able to effectively communicate, respect and work with your peers and all team members in a harmonious & respectful working environment that promotes team work and mutual trust & respect.

**Secondary Duties and Responsibilities**

Create and/or review work instructions, MIRs and inspection sheets

Assess/review customer returns

**Other Duties and Responsibilities**

Follow regulations and policies as outlined in company’s Employee Handbook

Follow the requirements of Controlled Goods Registration and other defense sector registrations (i.e. ITAR, etc.)

In accordance with the health and safety policy, follow and exceed the legislative requirements outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act to provide a safe & healthy workplace for all employees

**Qualifications**

Must be a Canadian citizen

Diploma or Degree related to quality assurance or mechanical engineering preferred

Able to correctly inspect and test product according to instructions

Able to correctly use required measurement tools, fixtures/gages, testing equipment

Able to read and understand the product criteria on engineering drawings

Able to work and communicate well with others

Able to complete and maintain inspection records and documents

Good work attendance and dependability; demonstrate initiative, reliability and positive team attitude

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

GD&T experience is an asset

Able to work in a high pressure, deadline-oriented environment demonstrating organization and time management skills

Experience in electrical, mechanical, and/or composites is an asset

Must be able to work 10 hour shifts: midnight shift from 7:30pm - 6:00am (Mon
- Thu),

Training will take place on day shift (6am - 4:30pm) from anywhere between 2-4 weeks before starting on midnight shift

Must be able to successfully pass a controlled goods background check

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
