**Heatherlea Farm Shoppe** is looking for a Butcher****

This position would include customer service and assisting the butcher in prepping and cutting meats, merchandising meats, receiving orders and putting them away, packaging, cleaning, and general maintenance. Being able to assist customers with meal ideas and cooking suggestions is an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Prior Butchery/Meat Cutting work experience (preferably 1+ years)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Continuous standing
- Occasional lifting of items of 50+ lbs
- Frequent leaning to retrieve products from the display case
- Frequent use of eye hand coordination and fine motor skills when cutting, preparing and packaging of meat products

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Exposure to various temperatures
- Some exposure to noise when using the bandsaw and other cutting/food preparation tools/equipment

WAGE
- Pay is based on skill set

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$30.00 per hour
