Experienced - 3 Ton Delivery Truck Driver - G Class

***_**THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF PERMANENT**_***

**Yard location: Vaughan, ON**
**Workdays: Monday to Friday**
**No Weekends**
**No Statutory Holidays**
**Shift Start time: 6AM to 8AM and end around 6PM - work a 10 to 12 hour shift**_**(end time varies depending on traffic delays, mechanical breakdowns, weather conditions and or freight volume)**_
- **Overtime will be paid out for any traffic delays, mechanical breakdowns, weather conditions and or freight volume.**_

**What you will do**:

- Drive _a _**3 Ton Refrigerated Truc**_k to deliver and or pick up freights to assigned stops within GTA and surrounding areas
- Deliver freights in good condition and within scheduled time _**(30+ deliveries daily)**_
- Use a handheld device to scan documents and freights
- _**Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or pallet truck (carry or lift up to 70lbs)**_
- Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
- Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Report on all safety hazards and accidents
- Use a cellular phone to communicate with dispatch ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Build strong client relationships
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
- Additional duties as required

**What we require of you**:

- High School Diploma
- Valid G Driver’s Licence
- Clean CVOR and Personal Driver’s Abstract
- Courier or LTL experience is an asset
- Minimum 2 year _**Commercial Delivery Truck Driving**_ experience
- This shift will be Monday to Friday. 10 to 12 hour workdays with start times from 6AM tot 7AM and end around 6PM. Overtime will be paid. _**Capable of doing physical labour with a great degree of strength and stamina - carry or lift up to 70lbs**_
