**MLI Programme Coordinator's responsibilities are**:

- Report to MLI designated staff during the programme
- Participate in planning meetings
- Coordinate Host Family Matching with the Local Coordinator
- Plan and lead activities
- Lead a full-day excursion
- Facilitate Local School Experience Day communication by acting as the hub between the local school and visiting school contact teachers
- Provide post-school activities for students, such as a review of the day or reflective discussions, until their host families arrive
- Monitor and oversee morning student arrivals and afternoon student dismissals
- Conduct daily well-being checks for students and address any concerns
- Daily briefings with visiting chaperones
- Organize and facilitate the Farewell Gathering
- Oversee and support students on Departure Day
- Work with the Local Coordinator regarding homestay-related matters
- Manage emergency situations, which may include outside programme hours
- Attend a social event such as an evening gathering with visiting chaperones

**Requirements are**:

- Canadian certified Teaching Degree OR ESL Teaching Certificate (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, etc.)
- Teaching experience with international students
- Driver’s license
- Ability to adapt and modify curriculum to suit the learning pace and ability of your students
