**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Security Specialist to join our team. Must know ISO 27001. NIST and NERC a plus. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's information systems and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data. You will work collaboratively with various departments to implement security measures, respond to incidents, and maintain compliance with industry standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard sensitive information.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on best practices in information security.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and their vulnerabilities.
- Understanding of firewall configurations and management.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies as they pertain to IT security projects.
- Strong incident response skills to effectively manage security breaches or threats.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual

Pay: $200,000.00-$250,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
