**The opportunity**:
The Insurance Advisor is responsible for the promotion, sales and service of all insurance products to new and existing clients.

**In this role you will**:

- Identify client’s needs and provide recommendations for the products and services required
- Promote retention of existing clients by providing quality customer service
- Pursue new business and additional product sales on a continuous basis
- Rate new and renewal business utilizing more advanced knowledge of underwriting principles
- Provide accurate and prompt front line accounting and underwriting functions
- Review and analyze personal sales volumes for improvement opportunities
- May assist leaders in staff training, statistical reporting and relevant activities or projects
- Strong written and oral communications
- Provide strong analytical and underwriting skills, including high value home products
- Provide team support including coaching junior employees and servicing clients for team members that are absent
- Monitors insurance claims and responds to client inquiries.
- Pursue a program of professional and personal development

**Here’s what you bring**:

- Insurance Broker Level 1 License required; Level 2 preferred
- Previous personal lines insurance experience required
- Demonstrated experience in a sales or customer service environment
- A natural ability at building authentic customer relationships and functioning as part of a team
- High level of motivation, excellent time management skills, and the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion
- Strong work ethic without sacrificing your ability to have fun on the job
