Route Driver

Sheehy Enterprises is an agricultural equipment dealer that provides services to Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and lower New Brunswick. We are currently looking for a route truck driver to deliver products to farms in Atlantic Canada. Below is a list of what we are looking for:
Primary Responsibilities:

- Delivering hygiene products and farm supplies in NS, NB, and NL. The NL route only happens once every three months.
- Ensuring essential hygiene products at dairy operations remain stocked up.
- Invoicing of products, maintain an accurate inventory, and maintain an organized sales area inside the truck.
- Cold-call to dairy operations to add customers and expand our customer base.
- Good communication skills. Coordinate with customers and coworkers to deliver parts or information about products.

Qualifications:

- Class 3 drivers license, air brakes, transportation of dangerous goods (TDG.) License is required for the job, TDG can be taken afterwards.
- Able to lift 50lbs. Many of the chemical products are in 56L or 208L barrels.
- Previous experience within an agricultural setting (preferably dairy farming.) If you don't have this you MUST have an interest in agriculture and a willingness to learn about the dairy industry.
- Sales experience is considered an asset. Not required but similar to the point above; sales is an essential part of this job.
