SUMMARY

The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and seamless processing of incoming and outgoing parts transactions. Other responsibilities will include the inspection of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents and quality, assist with maintaining accurate inventory quantities and bin locations, issuing parts correctly from inventory to work orders and ensuring correct parts are delivered to the assembly floor. Also assist in the coordination of freight appointments. The Warehouse Technician must understand the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations. Inventory management and vendor relations with shipping companies are essential functions for this position. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Process orders accurately and completely
- Proper tagging/marking of received inventory or material in warehouse
- Perform inventory counts as required based on business & operations needs
- Help warehouse team members in material/parts issues, receiving, transfer, shipping and cycle count
- Optimizing and adhering to process for issuing and monitoring all material for Coil Solutions Inc., ensuring proper standardized methods are utilized and followed
- Monitor and assist Overage, Shortage, and Damage (OS&D) processes and help in NCRs to closure if required
- Ensuring that all issued material/parts are in compliance with Coil Solutions policy and procedure and in case of clarity in process approach lead or senior members for resolution
- Following and recommending effective procedures of warehouse management
- Maintaining the audit trail and adherence to audit trail and print all transaction performed in Global Shop for audit and use it for resolving data entry or transaction error
- Maintain accurate storage of inventory.
- Inspect product to ensure saleable condition
- Operate a Forklift or Electric Pallet Jack in a safe manner to move received product.
- Reporting and resolving of inventory inaccuracies in terms of parts quantity, location, part number
- May be required to assist with scheduling freight appointments.
- Accurately and timely manage data for material allocation activities within formal and informal information systems (Global Shop, Excel).
- Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
- Oversee the secure and accurate storage and distribution of inventory.
- Electronic tracking and reporting of inventory/material/part movements such as material issuing, receiving, shipping and material Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off.
- Evaluate and update inventory accuracy on a daily basis.
- Participate in reconciliation activities to support the warehouse weekly/monthly/yearly cycle counting process.
- Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
- Following and recommending effective procedures of inventory management.
- Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if there are multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete.
- Problem solves for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.
- Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- Make deliveries with a company vehicle as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
- Journeyman Parts Technician
- Forklift Certification preferred
- Experience in the oilfield industry preferred.
- Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of lading and international shipments.
- Ability to weigh and measure items.
- Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Computer literacy, including working skills of Excel and Outlook.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Independent problem solving and decision making

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Office/Warehouse Environment
- Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required.
- Sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting and carrying objects
- May also be required to look at a computer screen for long periods of time.
- This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes and oils.
- Overtime as required
