**Project Controls Manager**

This role will be based in **Mississauga, ON.**
**Your role within the team**:
- Oversee and lead Project Controls execution.
- Participate in developing, enhancing adhering to project controls processes and procedures are in place.
- Develop and lead Project Controls execution for the project.
- Ensure partners and affiliates are apprised through reporting and status updates.
- Responsible for smooth operation and management of project controls teams.
- Identify and resolve issues, key variances and develop corrective action planning.
- Report to a Project Controls Director.
- Create functional team and Lead a team of Planners and Cost controllers and conduct performance evaluations.
- Effectively lead the implementation and management of change control.
- Stakeholder interface with respect to scope.

- Possess post-secondary education i.e. diploma or degree B.A., B.Sc., B.Eng., B.Com, PMP, AACE, or possess equivalent relevant industry experience in senior roles within project controls and or project management.
- Nuclear experience.
- 15+ years of relevant Project cost and Schedule control experience, 5-10 years of which leading teams in complex engineering and construction projects environment.
- Preferably thorough knowledge of Primavera P6.
- Demonstrate problem solving abilities, including the ability to learn new software as per the company standards.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to develop, build and maintain good working relationships leading a Project Controls team.
- Ability to mentor junior and intermediate staff and work with senior project cost controller.
- Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively to senior management.
- Ability to work well with Clients and Alliance partners.
- Proficient in MS office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details are required.
- Strong communication, report writing and presentation skills.
