**Key job responsibilities**
- Lead the digital strategy to engage customers via social media channels to drive awareness, conversation and affinity to the exciting, fast-growing GFI Brands, e.g. Bentilia, YoFiit.
- Lead the social content development process, liaise with communications, and creative teams as needed to bring content to life that is on-time, on brand, and platform relevant.
- Analyze and report social channel and activation performance to quantify the effectiveness of campaigns and drive scalable learnings.
- Administrator the organic social budget (boosting content, influencer marketing, and other social activations)
- Conduct analysis and report on campaign effectiveness, social platform performance, brand awareness, monitor SEO, web traffic and customer engagement.
- Liaise with influencer agencies or influencers to plan and execute campaigns.
- Strategize and build paid campaigns to drive ecommerce sales and retail store sales
- Report results of Ad Campaigns to identify success rates and provide recommendations
- Responsible for the effectiveness of Facebook, TikTok and Google ads campaigns, ad performance, and appropriate audience and keyword targeting.
- Work with platform partners such as Facebook, Google, TikTok to ensure the adoption of the latest best practices.
- Monitor daily results and optimize ads
- Be able to travel to the US for tradeshow events and other retailer activation or field marketing as needed
- Participate in activation at Retailers and tradeshows in Canada

**Preferred Qualifications**
- 4-5 years of work experience in social media marketing.
- 2-3+ years of experience working in paid media advertising comprising of media planning/buying, paid search, and/or paid social within an agency/client environment
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Prior social media marketing experience growing and managing social brand channels of significant scale, preferably in the CPG space.
- Experience directly building social accounts to large base of social followers.
- Experience leading influencer campaigns for TikTok, Instagram or other creator-led social channels.
- Experience developing, optimizing, analyzing, and reporting on paid campaigns on social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc)
- Strong knowledge with Facebook Ads Manager
- Familiarity with Google Analytics
- Ability to think on your feet and work independently with limited resources on multiple tasks pertaining to multiple brands
- Ability to manage people is a plus
