Position for Vice President of Operations

Bite Brands Ltd. is the parent company that owns and operates Dave's Hot Chicken in Canada and Forest Hill Farmhouse. As a Vice President of Operations and member of our Corporate team, you will be responsible for all of the day to day operations of Bite Brands.

Primary Responsibilities:
Operations and Training and Development:

- Operations Team
- Provide strategic direction and align resources and goals for the Operations team
- Stay up to date on operations location by location
- Work with the team to continuously improve operations through process improvements and industry best practices
- Systems and Standards
- Help build systems and standards for new brands
- Ensure brand and operational auditing system in place and is being implemented by management
- Team Leadership and Development
- Serve as mentor to the employees
- Hiring senior level operations in areas that will best support the Company’s goals.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

- Building long-term relationships with key vendors and stakeholders (e.g., contractors, suppliers) will be crucial to ensure consistency and quality across new store developments.

Technology Integration:

- Overseeing the integration of technology solutions that support construction, project management, and operational efficiency can help streamline the process.

Finance
- Overseeing the Operations teams goals and initiatives as it relates to annual operating store level budgets
- Approve all Operations capex and purchasing over $2500
- Approve all negotiations and vendor contracts for stores over $2500

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

- Experience in mulit-unit operating systems
- Collaborative, approachable, team player who works well with all levels of the organization.
- High attention to detail, critical thinking, ability to meet timeliness and work well under pressure.
- Ability to gather data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and propose solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems and business intelligence software; experience with cloud based accounting systems is an asset
