We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Administrator to join our growing team. Reporting to the CEO, the QA Administrator will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulations, including the Cannabis Act and its regulations, Good Production Practices (GPP), and other applicable standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in the creation, revision, and control of all Quality Management System (QMS) documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms, policies, and records.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible for audits and daily operations.
- Maintain record-keeping systems for batch records, testing results, deviations, and other quality-related activities.
- Ensure continuous compliance with Health Canada's Cannabis Regulations and Good Production Practices (GPP).
- Prepare and organize documentation for external audits by regulatory bodies (e.g., Health Canada) and third-party certifications.
- Coordinate and track product sampling for third-party laboratory testing.
- Verify and organize Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Communicate effectively with various departments (e.g., Processing, Cultivation, Distribution, Sales) to ensure quality standards are understood and met.
- Assist with the review and maintenance of supplier qualification documentation to ensure all materials meet quality requirements.
- Perform various administrative and clerical duties including data entry, filing, and scheduling.
- Support product recalls and product returns, as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences) or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Good Production Practices (GPP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Quality Management Systems (QMS) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Health Canada's Cannabis Regulations is a significant asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- **Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and able to provide proof of vaccination**
