Requisition ID: 154841 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. **The team**: Scotiabank’s Global Technology Solutions’ (GTS) Enterprise data quality service is responsible for the performing the data quality checks on the Canadian and enterprise level data. **The role**: **Is this role right for you?** - You are interested in building new designs, development and enhancement/addition of new features to the existing process. - You want to be challenged with complex problem solving in time sensitive situations to reduce system downtime and customer impact. - You thrive in a technical operations environment that is tied to deliverables around pre-determined Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) & Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). - You’re willing to accept challenges, provide solutions to technical problems and deliver the results in a time sensitive environment. - You are efficient in team management and lead the team and guide them to success. - You will be able to maintain good relationships with different vendors and manage/negotiate the contracts of the team members in the project. **Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?** - You have strong communication (verbal/written) and good interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external business partners and vendors. - You have at least 6+ years of hands-on technical working experience with IBM Infosphere Datastage and Information Analyzer. - You must have hands on experience in unix shell scripting and DB2 sql queries. - You have experience in extraction of data from various data sources including hive, oracle, flat files. - You possess knowledge on data quality CDE’s and dimensions.
