**Sommaire du poste/**_**Position summary**_

The Quality Specialist will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of quality activities including root cause analysis, corrective actions, reporting and generating trends. Also ensuring MPIQC’s quality and business processes are compliant to international standards and customer requirements.

**Fonctions Principales/**_**Essential functions**_
- Initiate RMA creation in the ERP and related databases, following customer requests.
- Perform and document containment actions related to quality issues.
- Investigate and document quality issues including customer complaints and internal NCRs to identify actions required.
- Track metrics for CAR, SCAR and NCMR trending and reporting.
- Work with cross-functional teams to determine root causes for process and product related issues.
- Provide support to manufacturing with acceptability decisions.
- Complete FAI Reports as per AS9102 or customer requirements
- Ensure the maintenance of records and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform internal audits delegated by the Director of Quality
- Support during external audits by Registrars and Customers.
- Other quality management system support activities.

**Exigences du poste/**_**Position Qualification**_
- Must possess good knowledge of IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies, and related processes.
- Experience working effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Experience with root cause analysis and focused on problem solving techniques.
- Strong analytical skills. Reliable and timely decision maker (decisions based on relevant information, alternatives, risk).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated high level of initiative, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.

**Formation et expérience/Education and Experience**
- Post-secondary degree in a related discipline or field of study.
- Minimum 3 years of prior experience as Quality Specialist/Coordinator (electronics an asset).
- Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 and IPC standards.
- Environnement de travail/Working Environment
- Work is generally performed in a production/manufacturing/office environment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
