**Location**: Houston Branch

Reporting to the Regional Manager

The Branch Manager is responsible for the management, growth and development of the Branch. They ensure the compliance of employees with company policies, US customs regulations, customer service requirements, and day-to-day clearing of inbound cargo. In addition, they will oversee, assist, train & maintain responsibility for the preparation of customs entries, payment of duties, and quoting customs fees.

- Monitor branch performance and take corrective action, as necessary
- Hiring, Training & Disciplining of Branch Employees
- Receive and respond to calls from customers
- Assist in quoting delivery of freight
- Audit entries

- Monitor staff training needs
- Conduct regular staff meetings
- Support business development
- Client visits as required
- Keep current with changing regulatory requirements and relay information to staff
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Customs Brokerage License (required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent

**Skills**:

- Ability to understand logical processes and be detail-oriented

- Strong work ethic
- Exceptional customer service and/or sales skills
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality when working with sensitive information
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision

**Experience**:

- 5 - 10 years of Customs Brokerage experience
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures

Work Conditions:

- Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
- Required to work in the office
- Overtime as required
- May need to work statutory holidays
- Travel may be required
