Thermo King Eastern Canada sells services and reconditions all major brands of transport equipment to manage temperature control environments for food and other perishables. We are a fast growing company looking to add an additional, and exceptional, Parts Supervisor to join our winning team.

The Parts Supervisor will be responsible for working with customers (internal/external) in a fast-paced parts department with important consideration for sensitive time and temperature needs. The Parts Supervisor oversees the parts division for Thermo King Reefer units and manages the parts team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE**:

- Supervise shop and mobile inventory, storage, tracking and specifications
- Safeguard inventory against shrinkage and spot check inventories on a regular basis
- Order parts in line with operational needs and chase suppliers
- Deal with customer needs face-to-face and over the phone with a professional and friendly approach
- Handle returns from TK Corporation and from local vendors
- Responsible for getting cores shipped back monthly
- Source non-stock parts for service jobs
- Supports technicians and service advisors in securing required parts in order to complete work orders
- Oversee and compile mobile and shop paperwork on a daily basis to ensure accuracy of the information being recorded
- Approving inventory purchases and receiving inventory before it’s utilized
- Safeguard inventory against shrinkage
- Identify warranty repairs and charge backs to OEM’s with support of Service Department
- Maintaining the company’s WHMIS program
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be driven and proficient, takes initiative
- Previous experience in a parts department (Automotive, OEM, trucking/transportation)
- Must have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience leading a team
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience with handling warranty (preferred)
- Superior Sales and Customer Service Skills
- Flexible approach to working hours to allow cover for holidays / training
