Reporting to the Manager of Finance/Treasurer, the Accounting Clerk is responsible for accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable functions.

This is a contract opportunity up to September 2025.

**Responsibilities**:

- The finance team processes and reports on all financial transactions for the County of Renfrew, which operates an annual budget of approximately $150 million. As a member of the finance team you will be assigned a variety of tasks, with a primary focus on accounts payable.
- Responsible for Tangible Capital Assets (TCA) activity management.
- Assists in general office duties

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration with an emphasis of accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Previous working experience in an environment governed by legislation and legislative rules and regulations;
- Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills;
- High level of initiative and independence, confidentiality, judgement and ability to work with minimum supervision.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $30.44-$34.27 per hour
