Youth Program Coordinator

**BGC Wolf Creek is seeking a Youth Program Coordinator for our Ponoka location.**
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 20 years of age
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification
- Previous experience working with youth
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Engage with youth in a supportive and nurturing manner
- Ensure youth programs are operating smoothly through interactive supervision
- Ensure a wide variety of youth programs are offered weekly
- Recruit and promote programs in the community
- Demonstrate a proactive, appropriate and positive approach to behaviour management issues and conflict resolution situations.
- Assist in program development and ensure compliance with licensing regulations
- Oversee adult volunteers in programs
- Assist in the summer day camp program in July and August
**Hours/Schedule**
- 35-40 hours a week
- Thursday or Friday evening shifts
- Summer hours will vary
- Expectation of one-year commitment
Pay: $20.50-$22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
