**Accounting Coordinator (Part-Time/Contract)**

We are currently looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join our expanding team on a Part-Time/Contract basis.

**About the Job**
The Accounting Coordinator role reports to the Accounting Manager and will support with the following:
- Manage all expense sheets (including credit cards) submitted by team members and ensure entries are on time and accurate.
- Supporting as required with processing bi-weekly vendor payments by EFT.
- Responsible for supporting the manual payments that require urgent attention via cheque.
- Assist in opening client files in QuickBooks and assigning/sharing docket numbers with the rest of the team on a regular basis.
- Assist in creating invoices, adding files to the internal cloud-based file folders, and updating QuickBooks with vendor invoicing.
- Assist in posting payments in the accounting files and QuickBooks and adding copies of these payments to the appropriate project folders.
- Review purchase orders for accuracy and communicate with team members, if necessary, on edits and/or changes to be adjusted.
- Run docket reports for projects on a regular basis or as needed.
- Responsible for supporting the Accounting Manager with on-premise and digital filing systems, ensuring a neat and organized system.
- Support the Accounting Manager with various accounting initiatives as required.
**Are you the one we’re looking for?**
**Education/Experience**
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or as a clerk with a focus on AR and AP
- A post-secondary diploma or degree, or equivalent experience
- Accounting designation desirable
**Skillsets/Strengths**
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written (bilingualism is a plus).
- Familiarity with accounting software packages, such as QuickBooks.
- Exceptional computer skills - including proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong time management skills - particularly prioritizing and organizing time.
- Robust file management skills.
