Drives commercial truck to deliver merchandise to client’s places of business. Unloads orders from truck, collects temperature readings, issues return credits if applicable and completes paperwork.
- Conducts safety inspection of delivery truck. Visually inspects pallets in truck to ensure correct number loaded.
- Obeys all traffic laws (as set forth by municipal, provincial, and federal governments).
- Verifies and confirms with clients all items and item quantities delivered. Obtains appropriate temperatures and signatures upon delivery.
- Drives delivery truck back to warehouse after all deliveries are made.
- Turns in paperwork, and payments if applicable, daily.
- Assists in loading and unloading delivery truck when necessary.
- Assists in other areas of Fleet department as needed.

Non-essential functions and tasks
- Assists in other areas of the shipping area as necessary.
- Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Permits/Licenses/Certifications:

- Quebec: Valid Regular Class 5
- Experience: 2 years of experience
- Knowledge/Skills: Safe, responsible, predictable, courteous, and defensive driving with an awareness of traffic laws and safe driving practices is required. Familiarity with delivery area preferred.

Pay: $16.40-$24.73 per hour
