Material Handler

**Job Overview**:
As a Material Handler/Order Picker at Music School, you will be responsible for managing the inventory of musical instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they are properly organized, maintained, and accessible to support the school's educational programs and activities.

**Responsibilities**:
Inventory Management:

- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of musical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring items are stored safely and securely.

Material Handling:

- Handle and transport musical instruments and equipment with care, following proper lifting and handling techniques to prevent damage.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for music lessons, rehearsals, performances, and events.

Equipment Checkout and Returns:

- Manage the checkout and return process for musical instruments and equipment, maintaining accurate records of loans and returns.
- Provide instructions and assistance to students and instructors on the proper handling and care of borrowed instruments and equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in tasks and assignments.
- A passion for music and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $22.20-$26.10 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
