**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled, safety-focused **ISA Certified Arborist®** and **ISA Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialist®** to lead a small, high-performing crew. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who wants autonomy, high-quality equipment, and the opportunity to share in the company’s success through **twice-annual profit sharing**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and mentor a crew on pruning, removals, rigging, and complex technical tree work
- Climb efficiently using SRT/MRS, spurs, and modern climbing systems
- Perform advanced rigging and aerial operations safely and efficiently
- Assess tree health, structure, and site hazards
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding scope and safety
- Coordinate job planning, equipment readiness, and crew workflow
- Maintain compliance with ISA standards and all relevant safety protocols

**Required Certifications & Experience**
- **ISA Certified Arborist®** _(required)_
- **ISA Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialist®** _(required)_
- Minimum **3-5 years** professional climbing experience
- Strong knowledge of pruning standards (ANSI A300), safe rigging, and aerial rescue
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (air brakes or Class 3 an asset)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Excellent leadership, communication, and crew-management skills
- Physically capable of sustained climbing and outdoor work

**Preferred (Not Required) Certifications**
- **Arborist Technician (SkilledTradesBC - Provincial Certification)**
- **ISA Tree Worker Aerial Lift Specialist®**
- Fall Protection, Chainsaw Safety, or SPRAT training

**Compensation & Benefits**
- **$30-$45 per hour**, depending on experience and certifications
- Profit sharing twice per year
