**Polyethics Industries** is looking for highly motivated Warehouse Shipper at our Hunter Valley warehouse location

What the typical day looks like for a _**Warehouse Shipper**:_
- Dealing with daily shunts to load and unload product and creating accurate and concise BOL’s;
- Loading and tracking our scrap trailer and goods for adequate shipment to outside vendors;
- Good understanding of the flow of goods and product locations;
- Ensure Film Orders are properly skidded and secure with rolls standing/flat, adequate signage and secured;
- Monitor Plant inventory of necessary needs or by request based on need: raw materials, inner and outer boxes, skids, equipment, skid wrap, glue, twist ties, film, etc.;
- Daily requests or needs of the team members based on need and expectation;
- Assist the production runs by preparing/staging materials (remove full skids, provide empty skids, etc);
- Perform and document tow motor safety checks daily prior to use of tow motor;
- Remove full core/wood boxes and replace with empty boxes;
- Weigh and tag (concise, legible) full scrap boxes (or gaylords) according to material and replace with empty boxes; record any weighed scrap on your scrap reports;
- Maintain the production and warehouse areas ensuring a clean, safe and organized environment free of clutter;
- Transfer finished goods and raw material between buildings locations using computer software or BOL;
- Other duties as requested and required.

This position is expected to work Monday-Friday; 9:00am-5:00pm.

**Qualifications**
- 2 years relevant forklift or warehouse shipping experience;
- **Valid forklift certification **considered an asset;
- Must be a highly motivated and team-oriented individual;
- Well organized, strong attention to detail;
- Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure;
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and computers;
- Customer service skills;
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Orillia, ON L3V 0Y7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Forklift: 2 years (preferred)
- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
