**Overview**
We are seeking a Elder Care Assistant to provide essential support an elderly client in a private home. This role involves assisting with daily living activities and general household maintenance.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing.
- Support clients with meal preparation and ensure they receive nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor clients’ health conditions and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Drive client on errands/

**Skills**
- Experience in home care/personal care is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with a senior is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with client and family.
- A clean background check is essential for this role.
- Drivers License is required.
- References are required.
- Must be comfortable with a dog.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
