**SEAMSTRESS**

**POSITION AVAILABLE: Regular Part Time (0.4 FTE)**

**SCOPE OF POSITION**: Responsible for the maintenance of resident’s clothing and the repairing/designing of items such as draperies, curtains, linen and other articles as requested

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Grade Twelve (12) required or equivalent.
- Home Economics course and/or previous experience an asset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous institutional experience preferred
- Ability to work well on their own
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis.

**SALARY RANGE**:
In accordance with current collective agreement between Ocean View Continuing Care Centre and C.U.P.E. Local 1245

S**CHEDULE**:
Weekends / Days / Evenings / Holidays; May be changed as necessary to meet the operational requirements of the facility.

Part-time hours: 16 per week

- Eastern Passage, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
