**Job Overview**:
Vital Machine Builders work collaboratively to design and assemble elegant, innovative, and cost-effective automated machinery solutions that provide our customers with long-term reliability, efficiency and ease of service.

Cross-departmental collaboration sessions are held regularly to energize the creative process, by ensuring fabricators and designers work together to generate consistently inspired designs. These sessions aid in providing a clear path forward for designers and fabricators, while ensuring everyone on the team feels that they are contributing to the overall success of each project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Consistent, accurate and precise assembly of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic machine systems
- Metal fabrication
- Panel Building
- Contribute to the development of machinery designs
- Accurately read and follow fabrication drawings
- Responsible for ensuring rev tracking is followed
- Support with shipping and receiving
- Ensure QAQC is continuously implemented
- Assist with the specification and procurement of machinery subcomponents
- Create and maintain accurate materials lists
- Generate detailed as-built markups
- Participate in the assembly, testing, commissioning and service of Vital machinery
- Accountable for the accurate review and inclusion of critical scope details

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of relevant experience in machinery assembly. Direct experience assembly and/or operating automated machinery, packaging equipment, and/or robotic systems would be an asset
- Ability to travel occasionally _(For equipment install and commissioning support)_
- Strong experience with high precision assembly of mechanical/electrical/robotic machinery
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office software _(Word, Excel, etc.)_
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes _(CNC machining, Sheet Metal Forming, Welding, Cutting, Finishing, etc.), _particularly with stainless steel
- Strong understanding of machine assembly & service procedures
- Additional experience with welding, CNC machining, seal & bearing install/maintenance, sanitary process systems, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing _(GD&T)_, and/or wiring/pneumatic tube routing would be considered an asset
- Must be a team player, promoting a supportive and collaborative company culture

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
