Shouldice Hospital in Thornhill, the leader in hernia repairs, is looking for a weekday ground's keeper to assist our grounds' crew in maintaining the picturesque landscape and gardens, along with regular maintenance tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide garbage removal service throughout the site by emptying receptacles.
- Assist staff with ground and lawn maintenance and brush removal.
- Plant and weed flower gardens.
- Operate light equipment such as hand-powered tools, grass trimmers, riding mower, etc.
- Assist with a variety of general maintenance and housekeeping tasks, as required, for example, painting.
- Other duties as directed by supervisor.

**Qualifications**
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to deal with the general public.
- Team player who can also work independently.
- Ability to take direction and seek clarification if required.
- Self-Starter.
- Previous experience in lawn and/or general maintenance an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
