**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Graduate degree in computer science, computational physics, electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
- Experience in signal processing techniques (time series/sampled data) from sensors
- Experience in exploring, manipulating, and extracting information from large data sets
- Experience with unsupervised and supervised machine learning techniques
- Developing fast, efficient software by studying data usage and systems flow
- Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team of people that possess diverse skill sets
- Maintain frequent and effective oral and written communication with all NovaResp team members
- The ability to help with project management and to prioritize your own list of tasks
**Bonus skills**:
- Familiarity with various python libraries, including numpy, scikit-learn, pandas, tensorflow
- Experience using cloud based computing (e.g. Google Cloud Platform) and hosting (e.g. GitHub) services
- Experience with linux-based operating systems
