**You have**:
- A University undergraduate degree with a specialization in accounting, business administration, commerce, finance, public administration, organizational behaviour, or other specialty relevant to the work of the Centre.
- A Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) or Professional Auditing Designation (CIA, CGAP, CISA)
- English and French intermediate reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- An in-depth understanding of internal auditing standards, methods and techniques of internal auditing, data collection, analysis, and quality assessment techniques.
- A strong experience developing and maintaining collaborative professional relationships with all levels of staff and management, while appropriately maintaining independence and objectivity.
**You are**:
- A strong communicator (oral and written) with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and with impact, with all levels of staff and management.
- Proficient at leading and managing staff and consultants within a multi-disciplinary project-based virtual environment.
- Flexible and adaptable, and able to respond quickly to unanticipated demands.
- Able to solve problems, innovate, be creative and think outside the box.
- Self-motivated demonstrating initiative.
**You are interested in**:
- Working in a small but dynamic and collaborative internal audit team and being recognized by management as a valued change agent for the organization.
- Leading and executing all phases of IDRC’s internal audit engagements, often with other professional auditors in a co-sourced internal audit model.
- Developing internal audit methodology and procedures to use in a variety of engagements, in accordance with professional practice standards.
- Managing/designing audit procedures to conduct assessments in a variety of management processes.
- Being a key member of the internal audit team, working with the resp to support internal audit planning and the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program.
- Joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion, and equity.

Hybrid Mode: Have the flexibility to work in hybrid mode (3 days out of 10 in the office).
