Community Disability Support Worker

Mira Facilitation Center provides tailored supports to assist individuals with developmental disabilities as they work towards goals that matter to them. We are seeking a Community Support Worker who shares our passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others
**Hours**: Sundays from 7am-3pm
**Rate of Pay**:Starting at $17.44/hour
**Benefits**:Mileage Paid
**Location**: Edmonton South, Alberta
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide direct support to Individuals in the Residential Program and within the community
- Facilitate community access, participation and inclusion for Individuals
- Provide comprehensive behavioural support to Individuals
- Accurately complete documentation and reports
**Education and Experience**:
- Completion of high school
- Post secondary education in a related field
- 6 months related experience is an asset
**Training and Clearances**:
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C and AED
- Clear police information check and vulnerable sector search
- Class 5 Canadian Driver's License that has been held for at least 1 year and access to a reliable vehicle is an asset
- MANDT System Certificate*
- Medication Administration Certificate*
- Person Centred Planning Certificate*

**Essential Skills**:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week
**Salary**: From $17.44 per hour
