**COMMERCIAL TRUCK REPAIR**

**Specific Job Duties Of A 2nd year apprentice Will Include**:

- Perform maintenance on all makes and models of truck, trailer, and equipment, as required.
- Have a basic understanding of electrical, and mechanical failures, and be able to diagnose and repair as required (With supervision of senior technicians).
- The diagnosis of equipment problems; identifying and replacing, as required, worn or broken parts, making all necessary adjustments and alignments.
- Learning from licensed technicians, and developing skillsets.
- Keeping the shop clean.

**Position Requirements**:

- Self motivated, with the ability to work under mínimal supervision.
- Proof of enrolment in the heavy truck and coach trade.
- Safety conscious, ability to work in a safety driven environment.
- Current knowledge of company furnished technical literature, vendors' technical bulletins and latest equipment advancements.
- Proficiency with all tools of the trade, shop machines and power tools, and electronic diagnostic equipment.
- PC literate, reliable and team-oriented with solid customer service skills
- The person must be available to work on the day & afternoon shift with alternating weekends.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- *MUST PROVIDE CLEAN DRIVER'S ABSTRACT PRIOR TO BEING HIRED*
- Physically fit and capable

- 310T level two completion or better (required)
