**The Role**

Secure Orbit Inc. is seeking a skilled, organized and highly motivated Project Manager/Estimator. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of fencing and overhead door projects within Northwestern Ontario. Secure Orbit Inc. operates the reputable businesses of Northwest Fencing and Lakehead Overhead Door, and requires a Project Manager/Estimator that can deliver a high level of organization and leadership to execute on challenging projects.

**What you'll do**:
As part of the Secure Orbit team you will:

- Conduct detailed cost estimates for large and complex construction projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
- Utilize project management methodology to develop detailed project plans and schedules.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating materials, labor, and subcontractors.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential issues or challenges that may impact project timelines or costs
- Work closely with general contractors to meet training, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination and integration of project tasks.
- Prepare and present project estimates to clients or stakeholders, explaining the basis of the estimate and any assumptions made
- Maintain accurate and detailed records related to project documentation, budgets, and contracts.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on estimated versus actual costs

**Who you are**:

- 3-5 years proven experience in estimating and project management, preferably in the construction industry.
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related education
- PMP and P.Eng certifications are assets but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills, conflict management, and ability to professionally communicate and provide solutions to the team
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with Gantt charts and project scheduling software.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, subcontracts, and bidding process
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Familiarity with MS office suite of apps including Microsoft Project
- A valid class G license

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
